Each participant gets:
- Finn McCool T-Shirt
- Awesome custom finisher glass
- Finn race bib
- A bag tag on your bib. This will be for a bag drop at the race
- Free face painting
- After race food and water
- Free beer (one 16 oz beer of your choice)
- Free pizza (one generous slice) from The WAREHOUSE!
- Very, very muddy
- Fire hose shower after the event
- To hang out at the Irish Festival when the event is complete
- The right to say you partied hard with FINN!

The first wave starts at 9:30 am. The Lil' Fini kids race will begin at 9:00am.
Packet pickup will be from 3pm - 7pm on Friday, September 7th at the Irish Center in South Buffalo ( 245 Abbott Rd | Buffalo, NY 14220) The bar is open and offering $1.50 drafts to our participants picking up packets. PLEASE BRING ID
Runners Roost ( Owner Dave Borodczyk & staff) will be there with Clearance apparel & shoes to sell!
There is also packet pick up from 8-11 AM on Saturday at race venue, however ALL people are encouraged to pick-up packets on Friday evening. Please make every effort to do so to minimize race day lines.
IMPORTANT: ALL INDIVIDUALS 21 AND OVER MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PACKET
It is necessary for all individuals to pick up packets. We need to check ID's for the after party. At that point we will give you one wrist band that you will need to put on right then.
NO OTHER wrist bands will be issued, so do not lose or take off your wristband before the race. This wristband will also serve as your "ticket" for your FINN-isher commemorative glass which you will receive at the after party.
Parents may pick up for anyone under 21.

We at Eclipse Multi-Sport understand that life happens, even when you plan otherwise. We plan for our races according to the number of preregistered athletes, so unfortunately refunds will not be honored. It may be a possibility that your entry fee be transferred to another Eclipse Multi-Sport race. If there is a price difference between races, it must be paid when registering for the next event.
Yes the top 3 finishers overall and the top 3 in each age group both male and female. There will also be awards for the top team finishers as well as non-perfomance based awards such as best costume!
Participants will be sent out in waves about 20 minutes apart. You will be assigned a wave when you pick up your race packet.
Yes, teams are encouraged. And definitely dress for the part in kilts or your favorite celtic wear. Indicate team name and participants when registering.
Yes, the race will be timed..
Yes local media will be covering the event as well as professional photographers and videographers. By participating in the event you acknowledge and agree that your image could be used in our website or promotions.

Finn is an honorable Irish Warrior and yes there are rules to follow in an event graced with his name. Here they are:
- All participants must be 14 years old or older
- All participants must sign a legal waiver and acknowledge that they know they could be injured during the event.
- Instructions from the race director and staff must be followed or participants will be disqualified.
If you are a serious athlete your best approach is to cross train with road runs, trail runs, and weight lifting. If you are more into the social benefits of the event, the classic Guinness and chicken wing diet should do you just fine. Just remember, you will sign a waiver before the starting gun goes off just incase you take this suggestion too seriously.

The Lil Fini Kids Race will be a mini obstacle race for kids ages 4 - 13 on the day of the race. Kids will be finishing through the same mud pit and the same finish line as the Finn McCool race. More details to come.
